View of St. Paul's steeple

An 18th century church in Mount Vernon, New York, Saint Paul's was the site of a colonial election in 1733 which led to establishing a principle of religious freedom and was used as a Revolutionary War hospital in 1776. The associated cemetery contains graves from 1704 to the present.

The archive includes several documents related to the ecclesiastical history of the site, including a list of pew-holders with their locations, as well as period illustrations and photographs of the church.
